Nashville, TN

on the way down to Austin, we stopped in Nashville. this was my second time in Nashville, seeing as how I stopped here on the way up to Maryland. We Visited Grin’s cafe, which is a vegetarian cafe located in the Ben Shculman Center for Jewish Life at Belmont University. I got a wrap, which was pretty good. I’d stop there again if i were in Nashville.

We also went to my favorite coffee shop in Nashville, Bongo Java. Bongo Java actually owns Grin’s cafe. I thought the cup sleeves were cute; they read, “practice safe coffee. always use a bongo coffee condom”.

You know, my boyfriend lived in Nashville for over a year (and I was there every other weekend) but I never went to Grins. I’ve heard of it, but I always assumed it was only open during the week since it was on campus. I’ll have to check their hours and check it out. I’ll be back in Nashville for Valentine’s Day since he now lives 45 minutes from there…maybe we’ll check it out!
