I made yeasted donuts today for the first time (inspired by a few posts on the PPK). The recipe I veganized had too much mace (nutmeg), and was too dense. I’m going to try out a few more recipes before I settle.

    That inside shot made me almost pass out it looked so good!!! I LOVE doughnuts and have been excited for a while about making some vegan-style…since I haven’t had one in about 4 years! :) I can’t wait for your recipe!! You rock!

    I had the same problem, to dense and to much nutmeg.
