It’s starting to feel more like summer now. for the past few years, I havent really felt the ’spirit’ of the seasons (it doesnt really feel like Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.. just a regular day) much, but I’m feeling summer a bit now. Probably because ecclesia had a church bbq while i was at work yesterday (free veggie burger, I’m down). Plus I ate a popsicle the other day. I turned in my paper to take me off the lease after this period is up (july is the last month), and I have to turn in my last rent payment in a few days. It’s weird that It’s already been 6 months. I love the Montrose, and I’ll miss it… but I feel like it’s time for a change.

I found Mango flavored BlueBell Icecream the other day, and it’s pretty good. It has chunks of real mango in it. yum! Also, that anchor umbrella is my new favorite thing. I got it at a store that I loathe (I was there to get a copy of my key made at 2am, when nothing else was open) for $6, so it feels kind of weird buying it, but I fell in love.. what can i say?

I bought way too many books today :x i can’t help it. i was on a roll. haha.

I almost bought 50 Reasons to Buy Fair Trade, but I deleted it from my cart because I realized I was getting it because I liked the cover :[ haha.

I’m back in the Montrose now. Last night, I somehow managed to lose my cellphone, my cellphone charger, and my key to my apartment. I found my phone, bought a new charger, and got a copy of my key made at 2am. not a fun experience. haha.

Driving around baltimore really made me want to live in a house with a stoop + basement (we dont really have those here). you can see some pictures of some that I took while driving around (which means they’re not the best…) here on my Flickr.

I read today that the simple way center burned down in a fire. how crazy and sad. you can read/see more on their website. please help out if you can, too.

I’ve been lisening to the sideshow tramps/medicine show a lot the past day or so, because chantal introduced me to them. I like this type of music a lot. it reminds me of the murderin’ cannons. Tomorrow I’m going to a Jerry’s Kids show, and I’m pretty excited about that!
