So here is my contribution for this year’s World Wide Vegan Bake Sale. We raised more than last year, and it went to Austin Pets Alive. I made vegan black forest cupcakes: Chocolate cake with cherries an chocolate chunks, topped with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, chocolate ganache drizzle, and a cherry!

April 2010 marks two years that I’ve been vegan, and over six years since I went vegetarian! One of the best personal decisions that I’ve made for myself. I’m excited about all of the things I’ve yet to learn.

I’m also a little over 50 lbs down from my highest weight 6 months ago, with only 30 to go! Getting healthy, y’all. :)
